Biography

When judo was first included in the Olympic program at Tokyo in 1964, Austrian Alfred Redl participated in the middleweight division. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the pool stage. By profession, he was employed by the Wiener Verkehrsbetriebe (Vienna Transport Company).
