Biography

Australian rower Kim Jelbart was a member of the Melbourne University Boat Club (MUBC). Jelbart was later selected to represent Victoria, where he won the King’s Cup in the eight at the 1958 Australian Rowing Championships. The following year he was part of the MUBC eight that came second at the Victorian state championship. Jelbart competed in the coxless fours at the 1960 Roma Olympics, with the Australian crew being eliminated in the first repêchage race.
