Biography

Austrian rower Inge Niedermayer partnered Vera Sommerbauer in the double sculls at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. They won the B-final and were classified in seventh place. In 1978, Niedermayer competed at the World Championships in New Zealand with Sommerbauer of Pirat Wien. After that, Niedermayer rowed as a legionnaire for HSV Vienna and later with Gabriele Sinzinger at HSV Linz. Niedermayer participated in a total of five World Championships.
