Biography

Tage Henriksen was a member of Roskilde Roklub and won the Danish coxed pairs title three times. His first national title came in 1945 with Vagn Geert Jensen and cox Carlo Hansen and the latter two titles in 1947-48 with Finn Pedersen and cox Carl-Ebbe Andersen. Henriksen, Pedersen and Andersen were also chosen to represent Denmark in coxed pairs at the 1947 European Championships and 1948 Olympics, winning bronze at the Europeans and gold at the Olympics, after finishing second in their Olympic first round heat and advancing to the final through the repêchage.
