Biography

Rower Heiko Habermann was a member of the East German quadruple sculls winning the bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. The crew also won the national title that same year. At the 1986 and 1987 World Championships, Habermann finished fourth in both the single and double sculls respectively.

Habermann studied electrical engineering and worked as a vocational schoolteacher. He regularly participated in senior master rowing events.
