Biography

Rower Erika Endriss was a member of the West German female coxed eights that finished fifth at the 1976 Montréal Olympics. She rowed mostly in the double sculls, with her training partner Monika Zipplies. In 1977, the pair won a silver medal at the West German nationals in the quadruple sculls. Endriss later became a school teacher, specialising in sports, biology, and arts. Beside her work as a teacher she also became a versatile painter (www.erika-denzinger.de).
