Biography

Rower Meike Holländer was a member of the West German coxed eights at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, finishing seventh as the only crew not reaching the final. In 1995, she won the national title with the quadruple sculls, and in 1990 with the coxless fours. Together with Gabriele Mehl she won three silver medals at the nationals in the coxless pairs. In the 1990 coxless fours, Holländer also won the silver medal at the World Championships.
