Biography

In 1970, Arthur Heyne moved to double sculls, partnering with Jochen Meißner, but they disappointed at the 1972 München Olympics, ranking 10th. Heyne won the double sculls silver medal at the West German Championships in both 1971 and 1972. On both occasions, he partnered with Helmut Wolber.
