Biography

Sándor Kleckner started his sporting career in BEAC as a fencer and shooter. He obtained a first-class qualification in fencing, and in 1909 became the national shooting champion. In addition, he competed for Pannónia Rowing Club as a cox. As a member of the team, he took part in the 1908 London Olympics, where they finished fifth in the eights. He later returned to fencing with FTC and, in 1914 and 1922, won the second class sabre championship.
