Biography

Italian rower Severino Lucini represented Canottieri Lario in Como with him winning four national titles during the 1950s and 1960s. Lucini and Cesarino Pestuggia represented Italy in the double sculls at the 1960 Roma Olympics. In the first round of the competition the pair were drawn in heat three but ended up being disqualified before being eliminated in the repêchage. After his competitive career Lucini continued in the sport as a coach at Canottieri Moltrasio.
