Giampaolo Tronchin was an Italian rower who represented C.N. Fiamme Gialle. A two-time national champion, Tronchin was selected to compete in the coxed pairs at the 1972 München Olympics. The Italian crew finished third in their heat before being eliminated in the repêchage. After his competitive career he became a rowing coach for the national team.
