Sylvia Baldessarini was an Austrian sports shooter competing at the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. She came ninth with the 10 metres air rifle and tied 16th with the 50 metres small-bore rifle. At the 1987 World Championships she finished an unfortunate fourth with the air rifle, and sixth two years later. In 1988, she won the European Junior Championships.
