Biography

West German sports shooter Jürgen Hartmann finished an unfortunate fourth in the free pistol event at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. He won eight German national titles. Later, Hartmann became Federal sports coach of the police for sports shooting disciplines. His brother Hubert also was a successful national sports shooter.
