Biography

Volleyball player Sigrid Terstegge was a member of the West German women’s team at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics that finished sixth after losing the match for fifth place against South Korea. Terstegge won 353 international caps and participated in six European Championships as well as in the 1986 Worlds.

Tersetgge played with USC Münster from 1976-90, helping them to win the German Championship in 1980-81 and the German Cup in 1979 and 1982. In 1982 she also won the CEV Cup. By profession, Terstegge became a dental technologist in Kiel.
