Biography

Hans-Georg von der Ohe was a West German volleyball player who competed at the 1972 München home Olympics. The team lost all their preliminary matches against Brazil, Romania, Cuba, East Germany and Japan, but did win their 11th place match against Tunisia. Domestically, he played with MTV Celle and since 1969 with USC Münster, helping them to win both the West German Championships in 1970-72 and the West German Cup in 1976. By profession, von der Ohe became a dentist with his own practice at Bielefeld.
