Biography

Stefano Sibani was an Italian volleyball player. Domestically he was with club Panini Modena, where he won four titles (1970, 1972, 1974, 1978). He débuted with the national team on 1 September 1969 in a match against Finland (3-1) and competed at the 1970 World Championships in Bulgaria, where the team reached the 15th place. He participated twice at the Olympics, in 1976 where Italy was present for the first time at the quadrennial Games and reached the eighth place, and four years later in Moscow with a ninth-place finish overall, where Sibani played his last of 166 international matches.
