Biography

Eddie Brooks was a water polo player who represented Western Australia and the Australian national team. For his country, Brooks played in more than 120 matches.

Brooks first represented Western Australia in 1972, and went on to represent the state six more times during the 1970s. In 1973, Brooks was part of the Australian team that competed at the first edition of the World Aquatics Championships. Brooks would compete at the 1975 World Aquatics Championships, and was selected to the Australian team for the water polo tournament at the 1976 Montréal Olympics. Brooks’ final international matches were on Australia’s 1979 tour of Europe, Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
