Mincho Pashov had the following podium finishes at major championships: 3rd in the 1980 Olympics Lightweight class (325.0 kg); 3rd in the 1980 World Championships Lightweight class (325.0 kg); 2nd in the 1981 World Championships Lightweight class (330.0 kg); 2nd in the 1982 World Championships Middleweight class (357.5 kg); 2nd in the 1985 World Championships Middleweight class (357.5 kg); 2nd in the 1981 European Championships Lightweight class (330.0 kg); 2nd in the 1982 European Championships Middleweight class (357.5 kg). He set three middleweight clean & jerk world records in 1982-84.
