Biography
German weightlifter Willi Hoffmann came sixth in the middleweight class at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics and the following year was third at the European Championships, again at middleweight. In 1928 and 1930 he earned a bronze at the German Championships and in 1929 at the Europeans. In 1931 he finished fifth at the Europeans and a silver at the Germans.
