Biography

Lifter Gerd Kennel was placed eighth at the 1976 Montréal Olympics in the light-heavyweight class. He won three West German national titles, in 1976 and 1978-79. By profession, Kennel trained as a tax inspector, and was the chief tax investigator for Saarland.
