Biography

Maurice Desaymonet was capped 28 times with the French national team between 1948 and 1950. He won Olympic silver in 1948, an European Championships silver in 1949, and was sixth at the 1950 World Championships. At the club level, Desaymonet played his entire career with Championnet Sports, winning the French title with them in 1945. By profession Desaymonet was a bank clerk.
