Biography

Kris Stookey finished fourth in the 470 Class at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, skippering the boat alongside Louise Van Voorhis. Stookey competed at four World Championships - 1991 and 1994-96, with a best finish of seventh in 1995.

Stookey attended Brown University, graduating in 1991. At the time of the 1996 Olympics she worked for Pfizer as a pharmaceutical sales rep. She married Hunt Stookey, who was President of Lightspeed Boats.
