Biography

Augusto Giomo was an Italian point guard who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics. Giomo played for National and Virtus Bologna from 1962-68, after starring with Olimpia Milano. He played 131 matches for Virtus and had 50 international caps. Giomo studied chemistry and physics in college, but later became a teacher and basketball coach.
