Biography

Silvio Treleani was the only Italian sailor who participated at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics. His event was the monotype class in Snowbird boats where he finished eighth, managing to win the 11th and final race. Domestically Treleani won two titles in the Dinghy class. Since the 1990s, to commemorate his Olympic participation, the Yacht Club Adriaco has organized a trophy named in his honor.
