Austrian Thomas Wallner was a windsurfer, qualifying for the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympic Games. He finished 11th with the Lechner division II board. Having been successful in the 1980s, Wallner went on to become World Championship runner-up in slalom and lightweight men’s course racing in 2019.
