Biography

German sailor Stefan Warkalla finished fifth at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in the one-person dinghy laser event. In 1988 and 2001, he won two bronze medals at the German nationals. In 1987 and 1988 won the famous regatta Kieler Woche. In 1991, he won a silver medal at the World Championships, and in 1988, 1992 and 1997 three silver medals at European Championships, also a bronze medal in 1996. By profession, he became a graduated business manager working with ARAL, Tengelmann Group and Groupe Hamelin.
