Biography

Henri De Bruyne was a Belgian track and field athlete who represented KAA Gent. De Bruyne specialised in the long jump, becoming the national champion in the event in 1919. In the same year he set a Belgian record that stood until 1921. He competed in his favoured event at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics, finishing in 18th place with a jump of 6.200 metres.

Personal Best: LJ – 6.60 (1919).
