Biography

Adolphe Hauman was a Belgian track and field athlete who specialised in the javelin throw. Hauman competed at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics where he finished in 18th place with a best throw of 42.580 metres. From 1920 to 1925 and from 1926 to 1927 he was the Belgian record holder in the event, recording a best throw of 53.28 metres. From 1923 to 1926 Hauman won four consecutive national titles along with silver in 1921 and 1927.
