Biography

Alfonso Sánchez was a Chilean long-distance runner who competed at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics. Sánchez ran in both the 5,000 metres and the 10,000 metres but did not advance from his heat in either event. He was also scheduled to run in the marathon but did not start the race.

Personal Bests: 5000 – 16:25.2 (1912); 10000 – 35:46.8 (1912).
