Biography

In the early 60s, Jeff Mullins started the Duke Blue Devils on the road to being one of the collegiate basketball powers of the decade. After graduation from Duke, Mullins went on to a fine career in the NBA, playing 12 years. He started out with St. Louis, but after two years moved to the San Francisco (later Golden State) Warriors, where he stayed for the rest of his career. Mullins was a 6-4 (1.93) guard who had his best years from 1967 through 1974 when he consistently averaged over 20 points per game and played in three NBA AII-Star games. After leaving the NBA, Mullins spent time as a basketball coach, athletic director, and also in several entrepreneurial pursuits.
