Biography

Rauni Essman was a Finnish sprinter who represented Enson Kisailijat. In 1935 Essman set a national record in the 100 metres that stood for 17 years. At the 1936 Berlin Olympics Essman competed in the 100 metres where she reached the semi-finals.

Personal Best: 100 – 12.6 (1935).
