Biography

Niilo Hartikka was a Finnish track and field athlete who represented Oulun Pyrintö. Hartikka specialised in middle-distance running, with him running in the 1,500 metres at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Two years later he finished fourth in the same event at the 1938 European Athletics Championships in Paris. In 1939 Hartikka set a national record in the 1,500 metres that stood for ten years.

Personal Best: 1500 – 3:50.0 (1939).
