Marcelle Neveu was a French track and field athlete who specialised in middle-distance and cross country running races. In 1921 Neveu became the world record holder in the 1,000 metres before winning the French title in the event the following year. From 1922 to 1924 she won three consecutive national cross country titles and set a European record in the 800 metres in 1922. In 1928 Neveu became the French champion in the 800 metres and ran in that event at the Amsterdam Olympics.
