Biography

Manfred Seidel was a hammer thrower who finished 10th at the 1976 Montréal Olympic Games. In 1973 and 1977 he was runner-up at the East German Championships. Seidel participated in seven international meetings for East Germany between 1973 and 1976. By profession he was trained as a painter and decorator.

Personal Best: HT – 75.70 (1976).
