Biography

Long-distance runner Gaby Wolf finished 27th in the marathon at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. At the 1987 Worlds she came in 23rd and she also competed at the 1988 International Cross-Country Championships. In West Germany she won the 1990 marathon title. By profession, Wolf was a shopwoman.

Wolf was a frequent city marathon runner in Frankfurt, Essen, Hamburg, Karlsruhe, Hannover, Tokyo, Osaka, New York City, and San Sebastian with respectable results and several podiums. She won the 1986 Rhein-Ruhr-Marathon, the 1990 Karlsruhe Red Cross Marathon, and in 1992 and 1993, won the Hamburg Marathon.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-31:45 (1989).
