Biography

Horst Gieseler was a 400 m hurdler who fell in his heat at the 1964 Olympic Games and was eliminated. He had placed sixth at the 1966 European Championships, and in 1964 was West German Champion. Gieseler was educated as an industrial clerk, later becoming a confidential clerk.

Personal Best: 400H – 50.3 (1966).
