Biography

Marco Solfrini won a silver medal with Italy in the 1980 Olympics. He started with Brescia, then played for Pinti until 1981 and then moved to Virtus Roma, with whom he won a Scudetto, a Champions League, and Intercontinental Cup and a Korac Cup. He was a small forward who then finished his career playing for APU Udine (1985-87), Fabriano Basket (1987-90), and finally with Mens Sana Basket (1990-93). Solfrini was from Brescia, but later lived and died in Parma, from a heart attack.
