Biography

Ruggero Biancani was the Italian discus champion in 1935 (44,07 m). The following year he failed to qualify for the Olympic discus final, in which compatriot Giorgio Oberweger won the bronze medal. Biancani won a second national title in 1938 when he was the shot put champion with a throw of 13.62 m.

Personal Best: DT – 49.28 (1941).
