Biography
Francesco Ruggiero was an Italian marathon runner of the early 20th century. A native of Campobasso in Southern Italy who lived mostly in New York, London’s 1908 Olympic participation remains his best career achievement. Although he was a New York resident, he ran the marathon representing Italy.
