Biography

Nelly Restar was a sprinter who ran the 4x100 relay for the Philippines at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. She also competed at the Asian Games. Restar attended the Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT). Retiring in 1968, Restar then got married and later became a librarian at CIT, eventually returning to her hometown of Aklan, where she taught in the public schools.
