Biography

Boxer Franz Koschina was Austrian welterweight champion in 1963 and 1964. He participated in the same division at the 1960 Rome Olympics. There, the referee stopped the contest of his first bout against Swiss boxer Max Meier and Koschina was eliminated. In 1959 he had boxed at the European Championships but lost his quarter-final bout.
