Swiss track and field athlete Adolf Aebersold was an accomplished racewalker who competed during the 1920s and 1930s. Aebersold was a five-time national champion in the 50 kilometres event, winning his first title in 1929, followed by three consecutive wins from 1934 to 1936, and winning his final title in 1938. He competed in his favoured event at the 1936 Berlin Olympics where he finished 15th.
