Biography

Swedish long-distance runner Gustav Kinn was a specialist in the marathon, winning the national title on ten occasions. Kinn won his first Swedish marathon title in 1917 before going on to win a further nine titles during his career (1919–22, 1924–26, 1928–29). At the national championships he also won three silver medals in the 20,000 metres (1918, 1920, 1925). Kinn ran in the marathon at three Olympics during the 1920s with a best result of eighth place at the 1924 Paris Games.
