Biography

Jackie Humphrey was a high hurdler who ran for Eastern Kentucky University. She made the 1988 US Olympic team by winning the 100 hurdles at the Olympic Trials. It was somewhat of an upset as she placed in the top eight of the 100 four times at the US Championships, in 1987, and 1989-91, but with a best finish of fourth in 1990. At the NCAA Meet, Humphrey was the 1987 runner-up and finished fourth in 1988 and fifth in 1986. She was ranked in the US top 10 from 1986-91 and again in 1995, with fourth in 1988 for highest ranking. Humphrey was seventh in 1989 and 1991, eighth in 1987 and 1995, and ninth in 1986 and 1990.

Personal Best: 100H – 12.83 (1988).
