Biography

Charles Daggs ran for Claremont College in Pomona, and after graduation, for the Los Angeles AC. He finished fourth at the 1920 US Olympic Trials to make the team for Antwerpen. Daggs later became a high school physics and chemistry teacher in California, teaching at Granite Hills, El Cajon, and Grossmont High schools. He taught for 33 years before retiring.

Personal Best: 400H – 54.3 (1920).
