Biography

Mark Enyeart was AAU 800 champion in 1975, and NCAA 800 champion in 1975 and 1977. He also won the 800 at the 1975 NCAA indoors. In addition to the 1976 Olympics, Enyeart competed as an international for the US at the 1977 World Cup, finishing fourth in the 800. His other top finishes in the AAU/TAC Championships were fourth in the 1977 and 1979 800, and sixth in the 400 in 1980 and the 800 in 1981. He was world ranked #4 in the 800 in 1975 and 1977 by Track & Field News. After college at Utah State University he competed for the Pacific Coast Club. Enyeart later had a long career as a Special Agent with the FBI.

Personal Bests: 400 – 45.98 (1977); 800 – 1:44.84 (1977).
