Biography

Charles Harlow won the javelin throw at the 1927 AAU Championships, finishing third in 1926 and second in 1928. The 1928 AAU Meet doubled as the Olympic Trials, which qualified him for the Olympics. At Amsterdam, Harlow failed to make the final round. Harlow competed for Stanford and the Los Angeles AC. He made his living in oil, as a buyer of oil fields.

Personal Best: JT – 61.42 (201-6) (1927).
