Biography

Jerome Walters won the 1956 AAU 1,500. In the AAU 800 he was third in 1953 and second in 1959. At the 1959 Pan-American Games, Walters won his semi-final but abandoned in the final. He had multiple affiliations over the years, competing for UCLA, Cal State LA, Pepperdine, and later for the Southern Cal Striders, the US Marines, and the Los Angeles AC.

Personal Bests: 800 – 1:48.5 (1959); 1500 – 3:47.6 (1956); Mile – 4:08.8 (1956); 2 miles – 8:49.4 (1959).
