Pia Riva was an Italian Alpine skier who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Winter Olympics. Riva was a 10-time Italian champion, winning five titles each in downhill (1958-59, 1961, 1963-64) and slalom (1958, 1961-64). She also won at the prestigious Foemina Cup in Trento, leading the downhill and combined in 1962 and the slalom in 1964. In 1964 she added a title at the Grindelwald downhill and won the US Championships in giant slalom. Riva competed at the 1958 and 1962 World Championships, winning a silver medal in downhill in 1962 at Chamonix. She retired after the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics.
