Kim Seybold competed in pairs alongside her brother, Wayne Seybold. Together they finished second at the US Championships in 1985 and 1989, and third in 1986 and 1988. They competed at four World Championships, finishing eighth in 1986 and 1989, ninth in 1985, and 10th in 1988. They also had third-place podiums at the 1987 Skate Canada and NHK Trophy, the 1983 Nebelhorn Trophy, and at Skate America in 1989. Kim Seybold later had significant health issues with a brain tumor, which required several surgeries.
